The Groomi Tool spares kit consists of 3 spare combs which can be used to undo the quick release screw.
The combs are made of stainless steel and are extremely durable. Each comb should last around 18 months for the average pet owner! 
If you feel that the comb isn't performing as it should give it a good clean! The combs are not designed to cut, only to pull the dead hair from the animal.
